Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women aged between 18 – 43 years ASA II and III undergoing caesarean section will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i) Multiple pregnancies ii) Delivery prior to 37 or after 40 weeks of gestation iii) Pregnancy with advanced cardiac diseases iv) Maternal conditions compromising fetal growth such as diabetes, ongoing corticosteroid treatment, maternal HPA axis disorders and hepatic insufficiency
