Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Team Sports which include short sprinting activities like Football, Basketball, Hockey, Handball. Recreational Athletes: Train or play any of the above-mentioned sports for at least 3 days/week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any acute injury in past 2 weeks that can hinder sprinting performance (e.g.- fractures, ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendon injuries, nerve injuries etc.) History of lower limb and spinal surgery in last 1 year. History of any chronic instability (knee or ankle or hip) in last 1 year. History of any cardiovascular disease (heart attack, hypertension, stroke, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, diabetes etc.) Not enrolled for any other study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Peak Tibial Acceleration (PTA): Tibial Acceleration using Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Sensors.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed at the baseline and after 4 weeks, which depicts pre and post of the intervention.

Sprint Time (30-meter distance): Time using Stopwatch.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed at the baseline & after 4 weeks, which depicts pre & post of the intervention.
