Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with height 150-180cm and weight 40-80kg belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists grade I and II undergoing lower limb and lower abdominal surgeries under spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients taking any kind of analgesics, alpha adrenergic receptor antagonist drugs, chronic opioid usage, having bleeding disorders and infection at the site of needle insertion.
