Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis. 2. Pocket depth of 4-6mm 3. No history of antibiotic or periodontal therapy in the previous 6 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients taking medications that could affect their periodontal health 2. Known allergy to herbal products/medications 3. Receiving systemic antimicrobial therapy 4. Patients with aggressive periodontitis 5. Patients with adverse habits 6. Pregnant, or nursing females
