Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Grade III/IV patients with weight 45-70kg planned for tibia,ankle and foot surgeries with duration less than 3 hours and patients able to give written and informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient not willing for procedure 2.Patients with coagulopathy,local infection,pre-existing neuropathy 3.Hypersenstivity to local anaesthetic drug 4.Patients with significant history of drug or alcohol abuse, psychiatric illness

MeasureTime frame
Mean time to sensory block onset for sciatic nerve blockTimepoint: Time after injection of the drug to sciatic nerve block till initiation of sensory block

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Block Performance time 2.Assessment of sensory block for time to achieve complete sensory effect and duration 3.Assessment of motor block for onset,complete effect,duration 4.Requirement of Additional anaesthesia in terms of IV Fentanyl,local infiltration,IV ketofol will be observed for satisfactory anaesthesia(Success rate will be calculated accordingly). 5.Hemodynamic parameters such as pulse,mean arterial pressure,SPO2 6.Patient Satisfaction 7.Postoperative analgesia 8.Perioperative complications Timepoint: Upto 48 hours
