Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patient of unilateral primary vaginal hydrocele Age above 18 and below 60 years The swelling should be positive for transillumination It should be possible to get above the swelling at the base of the scrotum Controlled cases of Hypertension Controlled cases of Diabetes Mellitus
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Swelling arising from skin of the scrotum. Congenital hydrocele Filarial hydrocele Encysted hydrocele of the cord Previous history of either aspiration or surgery of hydrocele Diffuse swelling in the scrotum incorporating the testis but negative for transillumination.
