Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Acute pulpitis 2.Vital tooth with no history of spontaneous pain, nocturnal pain and provoked pain of longer duration. 3.No clinical evidence of swelling, sinus tract or fistula, mobility and tenderness to percussion. 4.No radiographic evidence of pulp degeneration such as periapical lesion, furcation involvement, pathologic root resorption, internal resorption and pulp calcification. 5.Hemorrhage should stop within 5 minutes from the amputated pulp stump after application of pressure pack. 6.Bleeding from the amputated pulp stump should be normal red color.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of unprovoked tooth ache 2.Presence of fistula or swelling 3.Evidence of necrosis or irreversibly damaged pulp. 4.Uncontrolled pulpal hemorrhage 5.Periapical or bifurcation radiolucency 6.Dystrophic calcification 7.Primary root lengths less than two third.
