Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age between 16-50 years. Subjects presenting with classical features of Sthoulya as per Ayurvedic texts Both male and female patients were randomly selected without bias of social education, religious or economic status Patients presenting with - Body mass index (BMI) of 30.0 onwards Patients suitable for Lekhana Basti. Patients fit for Virechana Krama. Patient who agree to follow the study protocol and give Consent for clinical trial.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient below 16 years and above 50 years. Patient with BMI Patient suffering from drug induced obesity. Patients having systemic disorders like severe Hypertension, Malignancy, Hepatic, Renal, Anorectal diseases etc. Pregnant and lactating women. Patients not fit for Lekhana basti and Virechana Karma Patients not willing to come under trial or giving consent.
