Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with Pratyatma Lakshan of Medodushti. 2.Patient fulfilling the Diagnostic Criteria of Dyslipidemia. 1.Serum Total Cholesterol - more than or equal to 200mg/dl 2.Serum Triglycerides - more than or equal to 150mg/dl 3.Serum LDL Cholesterol - more than or equal to 130 mg/dl 4.Serum HDL Cholesterol - less than 40mg/dl in males & less than 50 mg/dl in females 5.Serum VLDL Cholesterol – more than or equal to 40mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients below 20 years and above 60 years. 2.Patients having a past history of MI, Unstable Angina, or stroke. 3.Patients suffering from AIDS, Cancer, Tuberculosis, Uncontrolled DM and other complicated systemic disorders and any psychiatric illness. 4.Patients having Dyslipidemia due to drugs e.g., Glucocorticoids, Diuretics. 5.Pregnant and lactating women.

Relief in following parameters. 1.Kshudra shwasa (Breathlessness) 2.Atipipasa (Excessive thirst) 3.Nidradhikya (Sleepness) 4.Angagaurav (Heaviness of body) 5.Ati kshudha (Excessive hunger) 6.Swedadhikya (Profuse sweating) 7.Daurgandhya (Bad odor from body) 8.Alasya / Utsahahani (Lassitude) Timepoint: Assessment of subjective parameters at 1st day, 30th day, 60th day, 90th day.
