Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with suspected pre-malignant or oral squamous cell carcinoma lesions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Oral lesions with overt secondary infection. 2) Recurrent cases undergoing recent surgery or radiotherapy. 3) Patients who will deny consent. 4) Histologically diagnosed cases of non-squamous cell malignant or pre malignant lesions.

| 1. To estimate the proportion of patients showing dysplasia and micronuclear frequency in collected buccal smears. 2. To evaluate the histopathological diagnosis of the biopsy specimens. 3. To find out IHC interpretation of OSCC and dysplastic oral potentially malignant disorders using p53 and p16 markers. 4.
