Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients hospitalised with Type I Myocardial Infarction aged equal to or more than 18 years of age.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: LDL Cholesterol more than 1.4 mmol per litre at baseline. unable to provide contact details of a nominated clinician. Unable to provide written informed consent. Unlikely to survive greater than 12 months.
