Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age group between 25to 50 years irrespective of gender, caste, religion, etc. 2. Patients having different types of disturbed sleep patterns e.g. sleep onset insomnia, sleep maintenance insomnia, and nocturnal awakening. 3. Patients with the chronicity of Anidra for at least 1 month. 4. Patient’s PSQI cutoff score of more than 5, and ISI cutoff score of more than 8 5. Patients who fulfill the diagnosis of Insomnia Disorders as per DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th ed.) Criteria will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Taking treatment for any psychiatric issues. 2. Subjects on systemic or oral steroids. 3. Patients with alcohol or drug dependency. 4. Secondary insomnia and patients suffering from fatal familial insomnia. 5. Patients on hypnotic medicine or other drugs known to cause drowsiness. 6. Pregnant/lactating mother 7. Hypertension, diabetes or any other chronic diseases.

Primary

Nidrajanana add on effect of Padabhyanga along with Ashwagandha churna will be assessed.Timepoint: Nidrajanana add on effect of Padabhyanga along with Ashwagandha churna will be assessed. i.e intervention for 30days and follow up will be after 30 days
