Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants must have a confirmed diagnosis of hypertension by a physician.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients unable to or did not complete the questionnaire. 2. Prehypertensive patients 3. Patients with Labile Hypertension 4. Individuals with severe cognitive impairment or mental health conditions that may impede their ability to provide meaningful responses.

1. To enhance patient results, boost patient involvement, and provide personalized, secure, and efficient healthcare. 2. This will be achieved through the use of a questionnaire to tailor care to the specific requirements and difficulties faced by each patient. Timepoint: Previously, research has focused on evaluating the knowledge, attitudes, and clinical practices of healthcare professionals in managing hypertension. However, there is a notable gap in the literature concerning the knowledge, attitudes, and barriers experienced by hypertensive patients in relation to hypertension lifestyle and exercise. This study seeks to fill this gap by examining the Knowledge, Attitude, and Barriers (KAB) patterns of hypertensive patients in Mangalore.

Hypertension serves as a primary risk factor or an underlying factor for numerous cardiovascular disorders. The effectiveness of physiotherapeutic interventions in managing hypertension is well-established. However, the understanding, attitudes, & barriers related to exercise among hypertensive patients in Mangalore remain uninvestigated. Therefore, there is a pressing need to delve into the patterns of knowledge, attitudes, & barriers among hypertensive patients residing in MangaloreTimepoint: Previously, research has focused on evaluating the knowledge, attitudes, & clinical practices of healthcare professionals in managing hypertension.
