Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: adults above 18 years of age willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants unwilling to participate in the study. Those who are unable to sit for 30 minutes at a stretch due to either physical or mental conditions will be excluded. Subjects with medical conditions in which a blood draw would be contraindicated (e.g., severe anemia); active use of marijuana, opioids, or related drugs, participants living outside of the country.

1. The mean score of MEDEQ/PANAS of novice meditators meditating with a certified heartfulness trainer compared to negative control. 2. To understand the effects of Heartfulness Meditation on psychological stress (cortisol) and Serum oxytocin/Serum endorphin levels which can reduce the risk of various physical and mental health problems, by creating a calming sensation in our body.Timepoint: 4 week
