Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with signs and symptoms of Shwitra Roga, specifically skin depigmentation (Twak Vaivarnya), will be selected for this study. This includes individuals exhibiting the classical signs and symptoms of Shwitra, regardless of sex, aged between 18 and 60 years. Participants must be willing to sign the consent form, take the prescribed medicine properly, adhere to dietary and lifestyle guidelines (Pathya - Apathya), and be cooperative in following all study instructions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded if they have severe skin disorders, chronic systemic diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, blood-related disorders, or organ failure. Other exclusions include those on medication for the same illness, unwilling participants, patients with leprosy, albinism, pregnant or lactating women, patches from trauma, burns, or chemical exposure, long-term steroid or cytotoxic treatment, adverse reactions to treatment, and malignancy.
