Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: College students who had never practised yoga regularly There were both male and female subjects The age range of the subjects was between 17 and 25 years Those participants who voluntarily choose to participate in the study and sign an informed consent or permission form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with colour blindness were excluded from the study Individuals with organic disorders such as glaucoma infections in the eyes injuries to the eyes cancer after surgery for refractive defects and squinting Excluded from the study were those with neurological problems head injuries cardiovascular diseases diabetes and other illnesses known to impair cognitive ability Subjects not willing to give written consent were excluded Students with Respiratory Cardiac or any Systemic Disorder History of any Physical or Mental illness Students with lack of interest Students Who Practice Pranayama daily

HRV of the autonomic variables and for cognition and Visual reaction timeTimepoint: HRV of the autonomic variables and for cognition and Visual reaction time data will be taken twice 1st the baseline assessments were done before the intervention on 1st day for both the experimental group and the control group and they were done following the intervention for both the groups and post data will be taken after 8th week of intervetion
