Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: case definition:1.Age group 5 up to 15 years 2.sore throat, absence of cough, dysphagia, fever, headache, vomiting 3.changes in laboratory investigation of raised WBC, CRP ,ASO TITER (negative) , RADT(POSITIVE),CENTRO SCORE (2 to more than 4 point) OTHER INCLUSION CRITERIA:1.patient will be taken irrespective of their socioeconomic status 2.children under allopathic treatment penicillin v ,fulfilling above criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.cases that do not fulfill the case definition 2.patients below 5 to 15 years 3.patients whose parents are not willing to give their consent 4.mentally challenged patient 5.acute complication of group A STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTION :sinusitis, otitis media 6.cough,rhinorrohea,oral ulcer, conjunctivitis strongly suggest a viral etiology 7.patients are on antibiotic other than penicillin v 8.laboratory investigation ASO TITER (POSITIVE),RADT(NEGATIVE),CENTRO SCORE (0 TO 1 POINT)
