Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 65+years, American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Grading II, III, Patients posted for elective infraumbilical surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Uncooperative patients Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia Coagulopathies Puncture site infections Local anaesthetics allergy Increased intracranial pressure Pre-existing neurological deficits Severe pre-existing spine deformities Patients with unstable cardiovascular disease, including recent MI and Cardiac Failure
