Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of age group 21-60 irrespective of their gender. 2.Patients showing signs & symptoms of sthoulya as mentioned in Ayurveda Texts. 3.BMI more than 25kg/m2 and less than 40kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 .Pregnant females and lactating women. 2 .Acute life threatening conditions such as Cancer and Post MI. 3. Obesity due to other conditions like secondary obesity due endocrine diseases such as hypothyroidism,hypogonadism,PCOS. 4. BMI less than 25kg/m2 and more than 40kg/m2

1. To evaluate the efficacy of Trikatrayadi lohavati two times a day before meal for 3 months along with diet and exercise. 2.To give maximum symptoms relief such as dyspnoea,excess sleep, excess thirst ,generalised weakness and excess hunger.Timepoint: 90 days study with follow up on 30th, 60th and 90th day (0,30,60,90 )
