Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria 2)Patients will be selected in the age group of 15 to 45 years. 3)Patient with Hb more than 8-gram percent 4)Both married and unmarried women 5)Patient having excessive bleeding/prolonged bleeding/intermenstrual bleeding with the history of minimum of 2 cycles.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient with the history of bleeding disorders, DM, HTN, TB. 2)Endocrinal disorders like Thyroid Dysfunction, PCOS. 3)IUCD, OCP 4)Any benign or malignant growth in reproductive tract. 5)PID, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Uterine Fibroids, Uterine polyp. 6)If any Anatomical defects.

MeasureTime frame
The effect of treatment will be assessed on the basis of subjective criteria 1.Anruthau Alpam Api- Intermenstrual Scanty Bleeding 2.Vedana – Pain objective criteria 1) Duration of menstrual flow 2) Amount of menstrual flow (Pictorial blood loss assessment) 3) Interval between cyclesTimepoint: Assessment will be done on 4th day, 7th day and 11th day of the cycle during the period of treatment for 2 consecutive cycles.

MeasureTime frame
after treatment assessment will be done on the basis of a) subjective criteria: i)Intermenstrual Bleeding ii)Pain during menstruation b) Objective Criteria- i)Duration of menstrual flow ii)Amount of menstrual flow (Pictorial blood loss assessment) iii)Interval between cyclesTimepoint: After treatment assessment will be done on 4th day of 3rd cycle.
