Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Ages three to eight years. 2. A minimum of two primary molars exhibiting carious lesions radiographically and clinically that warranted a full-coverage restoration. 3. Full eruption and functional occlusion, with at least one proximal contact with an adjacent tooth, for teeth to be entered in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Ages three to nine years. • A minimum of two primary molars exhibiting carious lesions radiographically and clinically that warranted a full-coverage restoration. • Full eruption and functional occlusion, with at least one proximal contact with an adjacent tooth, for teeth to be entered in the study. . • Exclusion criteria: • Parents of the patients who do not accept to participate and sign the informed consent • Patients with a systemic disease, • Teeth which have a short period of time for succedaneous teeth to erupt • Any subject that does not fall under the inclusion criteria were excluded • Children with special needs. • Presence of malocclusion like cross bite, crowding, scissor bite etc. • Lived in remote villages and were unlikely to return for follow-up • Patients with TMJ abnormalities
