Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Objective no.1: To assess the prevalence of anemia among rural and tribal adolescents in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri Districts in the the state of Tamil Nadu. Both Adolescent boys and girls aged 10-19 Objective no. 2: To assess the amount of Iron in Mid Day meals provided to adolescents 15 Mid day meals and 10 home made meals to be offered to adolescents aged 10-19 will be sampled Objective no.3: To assess the strengths and challenges in implementation of strategies of AMB at the community level among rural and tribal adolescents at the school, community and health care settings. School teachers, Health care workers- PHC Medical Officers, Community Health officers at the Ayushman Bharath Health and Wellness Centres, ANMs, ASHA workers, RBSK Medical Officers, Objective no.4: To assess the Knowledge Attitude and Practice with regards to anemia among adolescents and their parents and teachers Adolescents, their parents and teachers Objective no.5: To assess the attendance rates of adolescent girls to explore the association between menstruation and school attendance (Attendance records of adolescent girls from the sampled schools)
