Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age group: 18 to 70 years 2.Either sex 3.ASA grading: III,IV 4.Patient posted for planned/emergency below knee surgeries [General surgery and Orthopedic surgery] 5.Patient able to understand VAS regarding assessment of pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Inability or refusal to follow the study protocol 2. Coagulopathy 3. Local Infection 4. Progressive Neurological Disorder 5.Bilateral lower limb surgery 6.Patient with pelvic fracture because of position problems.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To monitor hemodynamic stability in terms of Pulse rate,Systolic blood pressure,Diastolic blood pressure Mean arterial pressure and spo2.Timepoint: At baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Sensory block: • Onset time, Peak effect, Duration of sensory block 2. Motor block: • Onset time, Peak effect, Duration of motor block 3. Duration of analgesia 4. Peri-operative complication like Hematoma,Neuropraxia,Local anaesthetic toxicity,etcTimepoint: Till 24 hr
