Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects should be in between the age group of 35-55 years, Presence of Chronic periodontitis, Subjects without the history of invasive periodontal therapy in the previous six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with systemic diseases and infections, Subjects with chronic smoking, Subjects undergoing orthodontic treatment, Subjects with trauma from occlusion, Subjects with Endo-perio lesion

Measure	Time frame
Quality and quantity of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Tannerella forsythia, microbial load around mobile and non-mobile teeth.Timepoint: Samples are collected at the baseline itself. This is a cross-sectional study design without follow ups.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
Quality & quantity of Porphyromonas gingivalis & Tannerella forsythia around mobile & non-mobile teeth in chronic periodontitis.Timepoint: Time point is same as the baseline. All the microbial samples are collected at baseline. There is no intervention in the study.	—
