Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients posted for surgery and waiting in the preoperative area

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with cervical spine diseases, patients with anterior neck masses, patients with upper airway anatomy diseases, patient with previous neck surgeries

MeasureTime frame
to accurately locate and assess the Cricothyroid membrane, for the possibility of a cricothyroidotomy in the context of a CICO emergency.Timepoint: Measurements will be taken in pre-operative area only—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To measure other airway parameters such as Mallampati score & sternomental distance height & correlate with measurements of the cricothyroid membraneTimepoint: All the parameters will be assessed in pre-operative area of patients posted for elective surgery without any further follow up.—
