Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients > 18-99 years age; both male and female; receiving oxygen therapy by non-invasive methods. SpO2 > 96%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with peripheral vascular diseases. 2. Hypothermic patients. 3. Patients with high vasopressor support affecting cutaneous circulation. 4. Presence of cardiac arrhythmia.

Use of ORI for an detection of hyperoxemia in icu patients receiving oxygen therapyTimepoint: The timepoint will be at baseline, i.e immediately after enrolment of patient after meeting inclusion criteria, Baseline ABG will be taken Oxygen reserve index probe will be attached and time required to get first value from basel will be noted.

Incidence of hyperoxemia in icu patients. Time required for titration of oxygen therapyTimepoint: Incidence of hyperoxemia at the time of recruitment. Time required for titration of oxygen therapy in hours(specific time point cannot be framed as it is a novel study)
