Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA 1&2 2. Age between 18-65 years of both sexes 3. Adequate fasting status for 8hrs 4. BMI less than 35

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Gastroparesis 2. Gastroesophageal regurgitation 3. Upper respiratory tract infection 4. Potential difficult airway 5.Unclear ultrasound image under gastric ultrasonography before anaesthetia induction

MeasureTime frame
To compare the incidence of gastric insufflation during pre oxygenation using face mask ventilation in supine and propped up at 15 degree positions by measuring the antral volume using ultrasound. Timepoint: Before and after 3 minutes of preoxygenation
