Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (18–60 years old), and of either gender American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-II Elective posterior cervical spine surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients Refusal Local infection Coagulation disorder Allergy to local anesthetics Revision surgery Duration of surgery 6 hours Psychiatry disorders Drug Alcohol abuse Postoperative elective ventilation
