Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Females having cessation of menstruation since 12 months. 2. Female patients of the age group between 40-60 years irrespective of caste and religion. 3. The patient having 2 or more than 2 symptoms of diagnostic criteria- Hot flushes, Sweating, Sleep disturbance, Depression, Mood swings, Decreased libido, Fatigue, Palpitation, Urinary Incontinence, Joint pains. 4. Controlled Hypertension ( BP between 90/70 = x = 150/90), Type 2 diabetes mellitus (RBS = 140).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patient taking hormonal therapy. 2. Anemic condition ( HB = 9 g/dl ). 3. Women with K/C/O uncontrolled medical conditions such as Hypertension, Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid Dysfunction, Cardiovascular disease, Cerebrovascular disease, Coronary artery disease, Pulmonary Dysfunction (uncontrolled Bronchial Asthma and/or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease [COPD]), Psychiatric disorders, Rheumatoid arthritis. 4. Symptomatic patients with clinical evidence of Heart failure. 5. K/O/O Chronic progressive illness such as HIV, HBsAg and Malignancy. 6. Patients of Urinary tract infection, 2nd and 3rd degree vaginal prolapse. 7. K/C/O Urethritis and Vaginitis. 8. Anidra (insomnia) due to other conditions such as Madatyaya (alcoholism), and Abhighata (injury). 9. Individuals who are unaware of specific psychiatric diagnoses but have a history of treatment with antidepressants, neuroleptic medications, or major tranquilizers. 10. The patient is participating in another research study within 6 months. 11. A Patient who is not willing to sign the consent form.
