Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 5-18 years Both genders Children presenting with clinical symptoms of conjunctivitis redness, irritation, discharges, excess tears, itching, dryness, burning, swelling in eyelids with or without history of fever Children willing to give written informed consent or assent to participate in the study Informed consent of parents or guardians who are willing to participate their children in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children suffering from any chronic systemic diseases Children who are taking any medication in past 07 days for conjunctivitis Children wearing lenses and carrying cosmetic in eyesvision abnormality (except spectacles) absent light reflex abnormal pupil size /protrusion of orbit Children suffering from chronic recurrent conjunctivitis, keratitis, non-granulomatous anterior uveitis, nasolasolacrimal duct obstruction, trauma to the eye, corneal ulcer,iritis, sarcoidosis, pharyngoconjunctival pyrexia, orbital cellulitis, herpes zoster infection Children suffering from hyperpyrexia more than 104F
