Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women of ASA Grade 2 of age more than 18 Years undergoing elective lower segment caesarean section in St Johns Medical College Hospital under sub-arachnoid block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intra-uterine fetal death Allergy for study drugs Patient refusal Any caesarean section that requires general anesthesia

To compare the analgesic efficacy of subcutaneous infiltration of Ketamine and Bupivacaine for Post operative analgesia after LSCSTimepoint: assess the NRS scores at 15 minutes , 60 minutes ,2 hours, 6 hours , 12 hours and 24 hours postoperatively.

To compare the time taken for the first dose of rescue analgesia & total opioid consumption in the first 24 hours after surgery To compare the side effects of the study drugsTimepoint: The time at which, first dose of rescue analgesia needed is noted. Total additional analgesic requirement in the first 24 hours is noted.
