Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 CVA with Middle Cerebral Artery lesion 2 More than 4 weeks of onset 3 18 to 60 years of age 4 Increased muscle tone Grade 2 and 3 (moderate increased in resistance) on Modified Ashworth Scale on the affected side of elbow flexors muscles 5 MMSE score more than 23 6 Able to follow and obey commands 7 Hemodynamically stable
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Peripheral vascular disease peripheral nerve injury of the affected side upper limb 2 Any visual or hearing problems 3 Recurrent stroke 4 Patients on Anti spastic drugs Anti psychotic drugs Anti depressive drugs 5 Recent injection of botulinum toxin in past less than 3 months of time 6 Any musculoskeletal problem to the affected limb 7 Other neurological problem like head injury cerebral palsy multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury or uncontrolled cardiovascular or neurological condition
