Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systemically healthy patients 2.Patients with severe/advanced periodontitis (i.e. stage II/III) with slow/moderate progression (i.e.grade A) 3. Age group: 25 to 60 years 4. Gender: males and females 5. Minimum of 20 Permanent teeth 6. Presence of at least two teeth with PD =5mm on both sides of either arches

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and lactating women 2. Tobacco smokers 3. History of periodontal treatment in the last 6 months 4. History of systemic antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications in the last 6 months
