Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients having classical signs and symptoms of sandhigata vata. 2.  Patient indicated for Anuvasan basti karma as per classics such as vatvyadhi pidit , ruksha sharir,sandhukshit agni (51) 3.  Both male and female included between the ages of 30yrs to 60yrs. 4.  Knee OA confirmed by X-ray (according to Kellegren Lawrence scale for osteoarthritis up to grade3)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient having any ano-rectal bleeding ,fistula, adhog raktpitta, bleeding piles. 2. k/c/o Fracture of femur, tibia and fibula, dislocation of knee joint, malnutritional or congenital bone joint deformity. 3. Patients having systemic diseases like Gout, SLE , RA, Inflammatory Arthritis. 4. Recent history of intra articular injectable and use of systemic corticosteroids for more than 3 months. 5. History of knee arthroscopy surgery, knee replacement surgery. 6. Patients suffering from carcinoma, TB, AIDS disease and other life threatening diseases. 7. Pregnant and Lactating Mother. 8. Patients taking oral pain killers, NSAIDâ??s or Ayurvedic drug for pain and patients undergoing any local karma like lepa, upnah, agnikarma etc. 9. Uncontrolled DM, Dyslipidimia, IHD

MeasureTime frame
There is reduction in Sandhishool and Saandhiaatopa, Sandhishotha of knee joints. there is reduction Subjective criteria like VAS SCALE, CREPITUS. Improvement in Objective Assessment like KEM,KFM by Goniometer and Reduced Swelling by Measuring Tape.Timepoint: eighteenth day
