Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients diagnosed with odontogenic space infection. 2)Patients who are willing to get hospitalized for treatment. 3)Patients who are willing to give consent to participate in the study. 4)Patients with no significant medical history. (ASA I and ASA II).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with conditions that have high levels of presepsin and procalcitonin such as salivary gland infections, sinusitis, osteomyelitis, drug-induced osteonecrosis, trauma and secondary infections due to tumours, were excluded from this study. 2)Patients who are not willing get hospitalized for treatment. 3)Patients who are not willing to give consent to participate in the study. 4)Patients with significant medical history (ASA III and ASA IV). 5)Pregnant and lactating patient.
