Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age group 5-15 years of either sex presenting with enlarged tonsils with two or more symptoms mentioned under diagnostic criteria will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children below 5 years of age and above 15 years of age. Children presenting with tonsils enlarged in such a way that they are about to touch each other. Children having complications of tonsillitis like peritonsillar abscess, parapharyngeal abscess, tonsillar cyst, tonsillolith. Children suffering from other acute and chronic systemic illness and undergoing other interventions. Children presenting with Pharyngitis
