Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients whose functional visual disability can be attributed to cataract. Cataract patients with 1) Clear cornea 2) Well dilating pupil 3) Normal anterior chamber depth 4) Intact zonules.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients having co morbid conditions other than cataract which could affect visual outcome such as 1) Glaucoma, 2) Corneal opacity 3) Hypertensive retinopathy • Diabetic retinopathy • Macular pathology • Pseudoexfoliation syndrome • Endothelial pathology • Retinal pathology.
