Health Condition 1: E116- Type 2 diabetes mellitus with other specified complications

Interventions

Intervention1: Cinnamon Decoction: 2 grams (1 teaspoon) of cinnamon powder is added to 100ml of water and bought to a boil and is given to the subject to sip it warm, after dinner as a bed time tea.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals whose HBA1c levels are =6-10 2. Individuals with history of diabetes for at least 2 years 3. Individuals having a score of =5 on the PSQI 10 4. Willingness to participate in the study after signing the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of Kidney or liver failure Individuals with autoimmune disease, established CAD, bleeding disorders or Asthma Individuals under insulin therapy. Individuals are on corticosteroids, anticoagulants, antiepileptic drugs, and antioxidant supplements. Individuals who are hypersensitive to cinnamon and ginger
