Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age:20-65 years Gender:Male, Female and Transgender Patients with HbA1c greater than 6.5% Patients willing to follow all the instructions & attend all the study-associated visits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age below 20, greater than 65 years Patients with systemic illness such as Sjogren’s syndrome, Rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, hepatitis C virus, tuberculosis or sarcoidosis. Patients with AIDS, amyloidosis, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, primary biliary cirrhosis. Patients with Anaemia, chronic diarrhoea, kidney failure Patients using medications such as anti-histamines, anti-hypertensive, tricyclic anti- depressants, sedatives, decongestants. Patients experiencing psychological stress events Patients who are reporting with mouth breathing/persistent stuffy nose/ blocked sinuses/ hormonal changes – menopause Patients drinking water less than 3.4 litres per day for male and less than 2.8 litres per day for female Vulnerable groups Patients with history of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for head and neck regions. Patients with regular habit of nicotine usage / Alcohol consumption Patients requiring hospitalizations for any medical conditions during study Patients not willing to sign the consent form.
