Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade - I/II Patients intended for elective Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy under balanced General Anaesthesia. Uncomplicated symptomatic presentation of gallstones disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) BMI = 40 b) Opioid addiction. c) Open Cholecystectomy and Emergency Surgery. d) History of acute cholecystitis, pancreatitis, gangrene or empyema of the gall bladder, choledocholithiasis and cholangitis. e) History of comorbidities or malignancy. f) Past history of known shoulder pain or trauma to shoulder or shoulder surgery. g) Patients with multiple laparotomies. h) Pregnant patients.
