Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.American society of anaesthesiologists gradeI-II 2.Scheduled for caesarian section under spinal anesthesia 3.Pregnant patients giving informed,written and valid consent 4.Atleast 36weeks of gestational age 5.Singleton pregnancy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant women with history of cardiac,liver or kidney disease 2.Any contraindication to spinal anesthesia 3.Patients belonging to American society of anaesthesiologists gradeIII,IVand V 4.Anatomical abnormalities of spine 5.Patient refusal 6.Pregnant women with allergy to amide local anesthetic 7.More than 2 dural punctures 8.History of migraine or any chronic headache preoperatively or on the morning of surgery.
