Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 1 year to 18 years newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and the children who are already diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes (as per ISPAD 2022 guidelines)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with pre-existing syndromic/monogenic/endocrine diseases other significant comorbidities which affect the growth like chronic diarrhea, recurrent respiratory tract infections, congenital heart disease and hemolytic anemia are excluded. Children whose parents deny consent
