Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients within the age limit of 20 – 60 years will be included. Both the sexes – Male and Female will be included. Patients irrespective of their caste, religion and socio-economic condition. Pre-diagnosed cases of AE or newly added cases fulfilling ‘Hannifin and Rajika Criteria’(

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 20 and above 60 years of age. Pregnant and Lactating mothers. Patients with other systemic illness or serious pathological condition. Patients taking other therapeutic measures for AE. Patients with other skin disease like SLE, Psoriasis, Lichen pens.

Effectiveness of the treatment was assessed on the basis of – 1. Clinical improvement – Disappearance or relief of symptoms, improvement in general health and reduction in area spread. 2. For the effective assessment and evaluation, disease intensity scores will also be maintained according to EASI - Score(22).Timepoint: There was an improvement in the score after 4 weeks of administering the drug
