Health Condition 1: T311- Burns involving 10-19% of body surface Health Condition 2: T312- Burns involving 20-29% of body surface Health Condition 3: T310- Burns involving less than 10% of body surface

Interventions

Intervention1: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy: Total 10 sessions each 60 min, of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) along with standard treatment will be given to second degree thermal burn patients. Control

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 3. American society of Anaesthesiology physical status 1 and 2 4. Patients with second degree burn 5. Burn patient with total body surface area less than 30% involved 6. BMI 18- 29.9

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any disorders of active upper respiratory tract infection, any active lung pathology 2. Pregnant or breastfeeding females 3. Claustrophobic patients 4. Patients with diabetes or immunosuppressive diseases 5.CSOM or tympanic membrane perforation 6. Emphysema with CO2 retention 7. History suggestive of optic neuritis 8. History of spontaneous pneumothorax 9. History of thorax surgery 10. Seizure disorders 11. Uncontrolled high fever 12. Viral infections

Analysis of healing of burn wound on basis of -: Surface area of wound by using manual planimetry Exudate by observation Pain at wound site by VAS scaleTimepoint: Analysis of healing of burn wound will b done after following sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy 2 , 4th, 6th,8th and 10th.
