Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient of 18 years and above, newly diagnosed case of obstructive sleep apnea with AHI of 5 or more than 5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient suffering from any unstable cardiopulmonary, neurological, and psychiatric disease.  2) Patients having history of upper airway surgery. 3) Patient using positive airway pressure therapy.

1) Association of severity of depression (based on DASS-21) with severity of OSA (based on AHI)? 2)  Association of severity of anxiety (based on DASS-21) with severity of OSA (based on AHI) 3) Association of occurrence of depression and anxiety with severity of daytime sleepiness based on ESS scores.Timepoint: Patients will be assessed at baseline.—
