Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Biopsy proven laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma 2. Patients planned for surgery 3. Clinical data and demographic profile available 4. Informed and written consent of the patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previously received chemo and/or radiotherapy 2. Recurrent primary tumour 3. Patient unwilling to participate in the study
