Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Physical status class 1 and 2. Informed written consent from patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal, Suspected difficult airways, allergy to the study drug, planned awake tracheal intubation, increased risk of pulmonary aspiration, obese patients, edentulous, hepatic insufficiency, patients with facial hair and cervical spine injuries.

1-Successful intubation in first attempt. 2-Ease of laryngoscopy-vocal cord movement, limb movement & coughing. 3-Hemodynamic changes.Timepoint: 1-Successful intubation in. first attempt in seconds. 2-Ease of laryngoscopy-vocal cord movement, limb movement & coughing. 3-Hemodynamic changes at 30 seconds, 60 seconds & 90 seconds.
