Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Both Males and Females of age above 18 years Presence of one surgical scar Scar aged less than 3 months Participants willing to participate Scar of minimum 5 cms length

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of any topical treatment on the scar, History of Skin allergies, Hypertrophic or keloid scar, Active infections or inflammation at the scar site, Significant medical conditions affecting wound healing or scar formation. Previous adverse reactions to manual therapy interventions. Concurrent participation in other scar treatment modalities.

High frequency Ultrasonography to assess Scar thickness Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS): A patient-reported and observer-rated scale that evaluates scar characteristics including pain, itchiness, colour, thickness, and overall appearance The Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS): Measures the degree of mobility and flexibility of the scar tissue Mark points along the scar and measure length, width, height and elevation with a ruler Photographs of scar Timepoint: Pre-baseline Post-after 2 weeks
