Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with moderate to severe pneumonia (CURB65 more than 2) requiring oxygenation (PaO2/FiO2 less than 300) (PaO2 less than 60). Patints more than 18 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having contraindications of HFNC and NIV. Patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Patients not giving consent.
