Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group 1 to 8 years of either sex. 2. All patients undergoing General anaesthesiawith muscle relaxation and endotracheal intubation. 3. Patients undergoing surgeries away from head and neck.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Parent/guardian’s refusal or not giving consent. 2 Any Upper Respiratory tract infection. 3 Patient with comorbidities 4 Tracheal and laryngeal anomalies 5. Seizure disorder. 6. Any abnormality at the site 7. Hydrocephalus, Burns patients.

To observe if USG estimation of ET tube size co-related with traditional formula in children Timepoint: 10 MIN AFTER EXTUBATION

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To observe the percentage of endotracheal tube changes necessitated on the basis of an air leak test. Timepoint: after extubation
